Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Zzz Atelier, we focus on crafting quality sleep products. We leave logistics to shipping experts. All orders are shipped via reputable carriers at competitive rates, and we pass the savings on to you.

1) Order Processing

• Orders are dispatched on the next working day after successful payment.

• You’ll receive a dispatch email with your tracking number and carrier details.

2) Shipping Methods

A. Mattresses & Large Items

• Shipped by courier; delivery appointment is required.

• You must call the courier with your tracking number to book a suitable delivery day so someone can sign on delivery.

• A redelivery fee (generally from $39, set by the carrier) may apply if delivery is missed or cancelled.

• For heavier items, you may need to assist the driver with unloading at the doorstep.

B. Soft Furnishings & Lightweight Items

• Shipped via Australia Post; no appointment required.

• If no one is available to sign, a card will be left and the parcel will be held at your nearest post office for collection.

3) Transit Times

Typical delivery timeframes (business days) after dispatch:

• Melbourne: 2–5

• Sydney & Canberra: 2–7

• Adelaide: 3–7

• Brisbane: 4–9

• Other major cities: 4–10

• Rural/Regional: usually 7–15, and occasionally longer.

Note: Timeframes are indicative only and depend on carrier networks and local conditions.

4) Delivery Coverage

We deliver to most metropolitan areas and some regional areas across VIC, ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, with network coverage in parts of WA and NT.
Some remote or island locations are currently not serviced. Please check the tables below for undeliverable postcodes before ordering.

5) Shipping Fees

• Shipping cost is calculated by postcode and shown at checkout before payment.

• We negotiate competitive rates with multiple carriers and pass the savings on.

• We do not mark up shipping. From time to time or above certain order values, free shipping may be available—please refer to what’s shown at checkout.

6) Tracking, Signature & ATL

• A tracking number is emailed after dispatch.

• Large items require an appointment and signature on delivery.

• If you cannot be present, you may provide the carrier an Authority to Leave (ATL). When ATL is used, neither Zzz Atelier nor the carrier will be liable for loss, theft or damage after delivery.

• Australia Post items: if no one is home, a card will be left for post office collection.

7) PO Boxes & International

• Due to product dimensions/weight, we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

• We currently ship within Australia only. (New Zealand may be added in the future.)

• Collecting yourself: present a photo ID (driver’s licence, proof-of-age card, or passport).

• Someone collecting for you: email a scan of your photo ID to customerservice@zzzatelier.com.au and state the collector’s details.

• We may refuse release if sufficient identification is not provided.
