Warranty
Zzz Atelier Warranty
At Zzz Atelier, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our mattresses are backed by either a 10-Year or 15-Year Limited Warranty (depending on the model), while selected furniture products are covered by their respective warranty periods.
This warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this Warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Pro-Rated Warranty Schedule
The table below outlines the applicable warranty coverage and customer contribution for approved mattress warranty claims.
For approved warranty claims:
- During the No Charge Repair, Replacement or Refund period, Zzz Atelier will repair or replace the product at no charge for the product itself, subject to the terms of this Warranty Policy.
- After the No Charge Repair or Replacement or Refund period, approved warranty claims will be resolved on a pro-rated basis, with the customer contribution calculated in accordance with the schedule below.

Important Notes
- No-charge repair or replacement does not include transportation, freight or shipping costs. Customers remain responsible for any applicable transportation or shipping charges associated with a warranty claim.
- Where Zzz Atelier elects to provide a refund instead of a repair or replacement, the refund amount will be calculated in accordance with the same pro-rated schedule based on the original purchase price (excluding shipping charges).
- If the original proof of purchase showing the purchase price (excluding shipping charges) cannot be provided, Zzz Atelier reserves the right to determine the original purchase price based on our available records or, where necessary, use the current recommended retail price of the same or a comparable product when calculating the applicable customer contribution.
Who Is Covered
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.
Warranty claims must be supported by valid proof of purchase from Zzz Atelier or an authorised Zzz Atelier retail or marketplace partner. This warranty commences from the original purchase date of the product.
What Is Covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects resulting from faulty materials or workmanship under normal residential use.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not guarantee a particular comfort level, firmness preference or expected product lifespan beyond defects in materials or workmanship.
Mattresses
This warranty may cover:
- Broken or defective pocket springs.
- Coils or wires protruding through the mattress.
- Permanent body impressions or indentations greater than 38mm, measured without weight on the mattress and where the mattress has been continuously supported by a suitable bed frame or foundation.

This warranty may cover:
- Structural defects in the frame.

- Faulty workmanship that affects the intended use of the product.
Mattress Care Requirements
To maintain warranty coverage, your mattress must:
- Be used on a suitable and supportive bed frame or foundation.
- Be supported by at least five legs, including a rigid centre support extending from the frame to the floor, if it is a Queen or King size mattress.
- Be used on a slatted base with gaps no greater than 6 cm where the slats are less than or equal to 6 cm wide.
- Be used on a slatted base with gaps no greater than the width of the slats where the slats are more than 6 cm wide.
- Be kept clean and protected with a mattress protector.

- Be rotated from head to foot once a month during the first three months of use and at least once every three months thereafter, unless otherwise specified.
- Be adequately ventilated during normal use.
- Not be folded, bent or stored on its side for extended periods.
Failure to use a suitable foundation, provide adequate support, or properly care for, rotate, handle, ventilate or store the mattress may affect warranty coverage where that failure caused or contributed to the issue being claimed.

- Normal wear and tear.

- Damage to mattress fabric, quilting, stitching, seams or zippers is not covered. However, where an apparent defect was present when the mattress was first unpacked and was reported promptly to Zzz Atelier, before the mattress was used, moved, installed or cleaned, the issue may be assessed as a manufacturing defect. Claims must be supported by clear photographs showing the defect and the condition of the mattress at the time of unpacking.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence or improper handling.
- Damage caused by standing, jumping, folding or bending the mattress.
- Bent or damaged border wires caused by moving, folding, bending or improperly handling the mattress.

- Products sold as clearance, seconds, ex-display, imperfect, returned or otherwise sold on an "as-is" basis.
- Pillows, pillow protectors and other bedding accessories.
Mattress Cover Warranty
Where an eligible manufacturing defect reported in accordance with the above requirements relates solely to a removable mattress cover or zipper, Zzz Atelier may elect to repair or replace the affected cover only.
A defect affecting only the mattress cover does not automatically entitle the customer to a replacement mattress.

Unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law, this warranty operates on a Back-to-Base basis.
Customers may be required to return the product to our nominated warehouse or authorised service location for assessment.
Transportation, freight, delivery, collection and installation costs associated with warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by the Australian Consumer Law.
