Curved comfort, soft texture and a cosy place to call your own.
A contoured, caterpillar-inspired silhouette gently follows the shape of your body, creating a supportive and cocooning place to relax.
High-density foam provides comfortably cushioned support while helping Caterpillar maintain its distinctive shape with everyday use.
Whether you're reading, gaming, watching TV or simply taking a quiet moment, Caterpillar creates a comfortable space to switch off and unwind.
Soft velvet-textured polyester fabric and refined tufted detailing add warmth and tactile comfort. Available in Orange for a playful statement, Olive for an earthy feel or Cream for a soft, calming look.
Weighing just 11kg, Caterpillar is easy to reposition between living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners, while a non-slip base helps keep it securely in place.
Caterpillar arrives vacuum-compressed in one package for convenient delivery, with no tools or assembly required. Simply unbox, allow it to expand and settle in.
Yes. Caterpillar is ready to enjoy soon after unpacking once it has opened up enough for a comfortable seat. You do not need to wait for its final shape before use. Most expansion occurs within 24 - 72 hours, while the final shape and fabric finish may take up to 7 days to settle fully.
It arrives vacuum-compressed in one convenient package. Carefully open the outer carton and protective wrapping, taking care not to use sharp objects near the upholstery. There are no parts to connect and no tools or assembly required.
Yes. Temporary creases, wrinkles and slight unevenness are normal after vacuum packing. Smooth the upholstery by hand, gently reshape the foam and allow time for air to return through the lounger.
Yes. After allowing time for natural expansion, stubborn creases can be treated with gentle steam. Use a garment steamer or the steam function of an iron held a short distance from the fabric. Test an inconspicuous area first, keep the heat moving and never press the hot soleplate directly onto the upholstery.
Caterpillar has a relaxed, deeply cushioned floor-lounger feel rather than the upright feel of a conventional armchair. Its full foam construction flexes gently with your posture while the curved profile creates a generous place to settle in.
The seat is approximately 36cm high. This low profile is part of Caterpillar's relaxed floor-lounger design, but it may not suit anyone who prefers a higher seat or needs additional assistance when sitting down or standing up.
The fitted upholstery is not intended to be removed for routine cleaning. Spot clean the surface only with a clean, lightly damp cloth, avoid saturating the foam and allow the area to air dry completely.
Caterpillar is designed as an indoor one-person floor lounger. It is not intended as outdoor furniture, a mattress or a sofa bed. Keep it dry and do not stand or jump on it.
A non-slip base helps reduce movement on suitable clean, dry indoor surfaces. Performance can vary with the floor material, dust and surface condition, so place the lounger carefully and check the area regularly.
Caterpillar includes a 12-Month Limited Warranty against eligible manufacturing defects, subject to the applicable terms, conditions and exclusions. This voluntary warranty operates in addition to rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law. View the Zzz Atelier Warranty
